From Cashew Apple to Kernel
An introduction to the cashew. The product forms available are confirmed for each enquiry.
Cashew Apple
The cashew grows as a single nut attached to the base of a fleshy, pear-shaped fruit known as the cashew apple.
Raw Cashew Nuts
The kidney-shaped nut is harvested in its hard outer shell, which protects the kernel inside.
Cashew Kernels
Once the shell is removed, the kernel is the familiar cashew nut used by food manufacturers, retailers and food-service.
